Benton police locate Rivendell Behavioral Health facility escapee

BENTON, Ark. – Police in Benton said they have found a man who escaped from a behavioral health facility on Thursday.

In an update sent out later Thursday night, Benton Police Department officials said 28-year-old David Garrison Goings has been located and taken into custody.

BPD officials said they were searching for Going after he escaped from Rivendell Health Services where they said he was being held for a psychological evaluation for Miller County law enforcement.

Authorities said Goings is known to have violent tendencies towards himself and others.
