    Arkansas State Police arrest Conway man accused of rape

    CONWAY, Ark. – A Conway man accused of rape was arrested by Arkansas State Police after a chase Wednesday night.

    According to ASP officials, police in Conway requested help from state troopers while pursuing the suspect, 38-year-old Dan Joyce, around 8:47 p.m.

    Special agents said that Joyce’s vehicle was speeding at 120 miles per hour on Interstate 40 eastbound before taking an exit and continuing west.

    ASP officials said authorities performed a tactical vehicle intervention just west of the exit ramp.

    Joyce was then arrested and taken to the Faulkner County Detention Center, where he is facing charges of felony rape and fleeing.
