UAPB Football score 73 points on historic home-opening night against Arkansas Baptist

Saturday night will be a day that will go down in history, as the Natural State’s only two HBCU football programs faced off for the very first time.

Arkansas-Pine Bluff squared off against Arkansas Baptist for their home opener.

It may not be a day the Buffaloes will want to remember, but for the Golden Lions, it was a performance they expected to have.

After failing to score in a 70-point drumming against Arkansas in Week 1, UAPB used that loss as fuel to produce 73 points on 670 yards of offense for their first shutout victory since 2018.
