    Body found in Sweet Home identified as Little Rock man, Pulaski County deputies investigating as homicide

    PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. – Deputies in Pulaski County said that the body found in Sweet Home earlier this week has been identified as a Little Rock man.

    According to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office, the victim has been identified as 44-year-old Lawrence Nichols Jr.

    On Sept. 9, deputies said they responded to the 4300 block of Harper Road in Sweet Home around 1:35 p.m. Authorities said that Nichols’ body was found off the road by someone in the area.

    Deputies said that investigators are conducting a homicide investigation in connection with Nichols’ death.

    Investigators have not released any suspect information at this time.
