    Crash on I-30 near Benton involving tractor-trailer impacts traffic for nearly four hours

    SALINE COUNTY, Ark. – Crews with the Arkansas Department of Transportation spent a larger chunk of Thursday afternoon working to clear a crash involving a tractor-trailer on Interstate 30 in Saline County.

    The crash was first reported just before 12:15 p.m. near Mile Marker 114, in an area of long-time construction near Benton.

    Initial reports showed all lanes of eastbound I-30 were blocked by the crash, though by 1:15 p.m. it was down to just the right lane being affected.

    Automated reports from ARDOT show that the crash scene was finally cleared just before 4:15 p.m.

    There has been a report of injuries with this crash, though the number of people injured or the extent of the injuries has not been reported.

    ARDOT reported that there was a flammable load concern with this crash.

    Nothing new. When will they ever finish this construction that's been going on for years?? It's only 5 miles.
