Faulkner County deputies, Greenbrier police arrest shooting suspect

GREENBRIER, Ark. – Deputies with the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday that they are actively pursuing a suspect as part of an afternoon shooting.

In a social media post , FCSO officials said that they are currently assisting the Greenbrier Police Department with a shooting incident that happened in the area of Main Street.

The post said that law enforcement is in pursuit of the suspect and asked for drivers to expect possible traffic delays and road blockages in the area.

Officials did not name a suspect, or give any details related to the shooting, but did say that the suspect was taken into custody.
