Arkansas Department of Agriculture officials said Forestry Division crews are responding to a wildfire that is approximately 100 acres big. Crews from Garland, Hot Spring and Saline counties are also on the scene.

Officials said the fire has temporarily shut down a section of Highway 298 due to smoke impacting visibility.

ADA officials said air tankers are assisting with protecting structures in the path of the fire.
