    Arkansas State Fair sees record-breaking opening weekend

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – More than 180,000 people attended the Arkansas State Fair during its opening weekend, marking a record this year.

    Officials with the Arkansas State Fair said 189,193 people attended the fair in the first three days. The fair pulled in more than 44,000 people on the first day, which organizers say is the largest opening day in the last 10 years.

    Fair officials announced the concert lineup with performances from Stephen Pearcy of Ratt, Quiet Riot, Vixen, Dru Hill, Ginuwine, Chase Rice and Ella Langley.

    Ticket prices at the gate are $12 for adults and $6 for seniors and children ages 6-12. Standard parking at the fairground is $10 and $20 for premium parking.

    On Tuesday, fairgoers can enjoy the promotions, including Kiddie Day and The Point 94.1 Two Dollar Day.

    Arkansas State Fair returns in October, announces discount days and concert lineup

    The fair began in Little Rock on Friday, Oct. 11 and will continue until Sunday, Oct. 20. It will open daily at 11 a.m.
