Benton police investigating Friday armed ATM robbery

BENTON, Ark. – Benton police officers are investigating after an ATM robbery Friday night.

A department spokesperson said police were called to a Regions Bank on Military Road on just before 7 p.m. When officers arrived, an ATM worker told them two men in black masks and hoodies approached them.

The ATM worker said that one man pointed an unknown object at them while the second took the money.

Investigators were told the men arrived in a silver Nissan Rogue Sport.

Department officials ask anyone with information about this incident to contact the Benton Police Department at 501-778-1171 or 501-776-5947. Anonymous tips may also be sent via text to 847411 with the keyword BENTONPD in the body of the message.
