Donna Terrell’s Warrior Lodge at Jefferson Regional set to open no-cost facility for cancer patients, families

PINE BLUFF, Ark. – Officials said a facility set to be built on the Jefferson Regional Medical Center campus will support cancer patients and their caregivers.

Jefferson Regional Foundation announced a joint initiative with Donna Terell’s Yoga Warriors Fighting Cancer Organization to build a no-cost lodge that will support cancer patients receiving treatment and their families.

According to the release, the facility will with full bathrooms, a kitchen and a TV/sitting area.

Officials said the facility will also include a laundry room with a washer and dryer, an indoor fireplace, a computer room with Wi-Fi, reserved parking with a covered drive, an outdoor patio and keyless entry for after-hours access.

A groundbreaking ceremony will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 24. The facility will be built on the Jefferson Regional campus at 4003 South Mulberry Street in Pine Bluff.
