Searcy police make arrests in case involving methamphetamine, guns and assault

SEARCY, Ark. – Police in Searcy have made several arrests in a case investigators say involved methamphetamine, guns and the assault of several women.

According to the Searcy Police Department, officers along with the Central Arkansas Drug Task Force began the investigation in October.

As a result of the investigation, police said that Elijah Johnson, Paige Johnson, Christopher Koser and Justice Cunningham were arrested.

Elijah Johnson is facing charges of simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, maintaining a drug premises, possession with purpose to deliver methamphetamine and possession with purpose to deliver marijuana.

Paige Johnson is facing charges of possession of a controlled substance marijuana and criminal use of a communication device.

Koser is facing charges of possession of firearms by certain persons, aggravated assault, false imprisonment.

Cunningham is facing charges of bribery of a witness, possession of firearms by certain persons.

Police officials said the case is still under investigation and additional charges are expected in the case.
