HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – Tourists from all over the world have grown to love the Natural State and statistics from an economic impact study show that tourism in Arkansas is now a $9.9 billion industry.

Many tourists all share a common favorite and that’s Hot Springs, a place where John Everett goes each year on their anniversary.

“It’s family friendly, it’s laid back there’s a variety of things to do,” Everett said.

Hot Springs also known as Spa City is giving tourists an all-in-one experience with a balance between enjoying nature and Central Avenue.

More than 50 million tourists visited Arkansas in 2023, study says

Maria Monelongo says after retiring from teaching she decided to travel, and this is her third pit stop.

“We stopped here because we wanted to see, like I said, the park and do the trails and tomorrow we’re going to do another trail,” Monelongo said.

She says she’s been Hot springs for two days, but for Rochelle Gray it’s her first time.

“We’ve been to Fayetteville and then the Capitol Hotel in Little Rock and now here,” Gray said.

She said her Hot Springs experience has been memorable and for those who haven’t visited, you may want to put this on your travel to do list.
