Threat against Godfrey-Lee Schools not credible

A threat made against a Wyoming school district is not credible and evening activities are happening as planned on Monday.

Godfrey-Lee Public Schools canceled classes after a threat was made. The Wyoming Department of Public Safety investigated the situation, determining there is no danger to the school, according to Superintendent Dr. Arnetta Thompson.

"Given this development, I am pleased to share that all afternoon and evening activities will resume as scheduled," said Dr. Thompson. "We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time of uncertainty and are grateful that we can now move forward without further disruptions."

Dr. Thompson credits the quick reporting of a staff member for the school's ability to hold off on classes for Monday.
