Tonight's forecast: Oppressive heat and humidity Monday and Tuesday

The forecast from FOX 17 Meteorologist Michael Fish: Get ready for oppressive heat and humidity both Monday and Tuesday. Not only will the actual temperatures soar into the low 90s, the heat index will make it feel warmer than that when you factor in the humidity. Heat indices Monday will feel like they're in the low to mid 90s, and Tuesday will feel like the mid 90s to around 100. And that is in the shade. Use extra caution if you are outside the next few days. If you'd like some relief, head right along that Lake Michigan shoreline. There will once again be a slight chance of a shower tonight and Monday. We may have to keep an eye on any storm that may develop on Monday night into Tuesday. Those could contain some gusty wind if they do develop. We'll have more chances for showers and storms on Friday. After next weekend, we may see the start of a pattern shift to some cooler weather. TUESDAY: Partly cloudy, warm, and very humid with a chance of a storm. Highs in the low 90s. Feels like temperatures in the mid to upper 90s.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny and less humid. Highs in the low 80s.

THURSDAY: Mostly sunny and pleasant. Highs in the lower 80s.
