Water main break occurs in south St. Louis County

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – Crews were on the scene Wednesday morning as a water main break occurred in south St. Louis County.

The break was first reported on Tuesday and involved a 30-inch water main along Hawkins-Fuchs Road and Meramec Bottom Road in Tesson Ferry Township.

Hundreds of homes were impacted by the break. Crews worked throughout the night to fix the problem, and officials say the water is now back in service.
