    Fundraiser supports Ferguson officer with traumatic brain injury

    ST. LOUIS – A fundraiser was held Saturday to benefit a Ferguson police officer who is still in the hospital with a traumatic brain injury.

    The Drink House STL on Page Avenue hosted the benefit for Travis Brown.

    The 36-year-old officer was knocked to the ground during a protest on Aug. 9, 2024. ten years to the date of Michael Brown’s death.

    While Travis Brown is making progress in the ICU, his family is still waiting on him to open his eyes.

    The cost was $10 to get into the event and $25 for VIP access.
