Woman injured after being struck by vehicle in south St. Louis

ST. LOUIS – A woman was struck by a vehicle after crossing the street early Thursday morning in south St. Louis City.

The accident happened on South Kingshighway Boulevard at Arsenal Street, near the Tower Grove South neighborhood, Thursday morning.

Authorities say the woman was wearing dark clothing when she crossed the street in the dark. The woman did not use the crosswalk.

The woman was transported to the hospital, and her condition is considered to be critical but stable.
