ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Ill. – The Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis is investigating a homicide after a teenager was shot to death earlier this week in Cahokia Heights.

According to a statement from the Major Case Squad, the shooting happened Monday evening in the 2400 block of Renois Lane. Deputies with the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department were dispatched to the area just before 7:20 p.m.

Upon arrival, deputies found the victim, Damonta Mosley, suffering from at least one gunshot wound in a car.

Who won the Trump-Harris presidential debate?

Mosley was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died. He was 18.
