MISSOURI – Missouri residents that purchased canned or pouched tuna between June 1, 2011 and July 1, 2015 could qualify to receive cash from a $152.2 million class action settlement.

According to JNG Legal Administration, the settlement comes after the parent companies of Starkist and Lion Companies allegedly raised or fixed the price of packaged tuna products in violation of unfair competition laws.

If the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California approves the settlement, Starkist and Lion Companies have agreed to pay the total benefits.

Missouri is among several states where residents can file a claim. Go to www.TunaEndPurchaserSettlement.com to file or download a claim form.

A claim must be submitted online by Dec. 31, 2024.
