    De Smet Football eyes successful 2024

    ST. LOUIS — De Smet Football looks poised for another good season in 2024.

    So far, the Spartans have a 2-0 record and have outscored their opponents 76 to 13.

    De Smet has reached the state final four two straight years, but lost before getting to state.

    This year, the Spartans, taking a week-to-week approach, hope to climb to the mountaintop for the first time since 2019.
