ST. LOUIS – A car thief crashed a stolen vehicle into two other cars, injuring at least one person before running away. Police are still looking for the suspect.

The incident began when a man stole a 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe from the 5200 block of Northland Avenue. Just after 11 a.m., he crashed the stolen car into another vehicle at the intersection of Union Boulevard and Natural Bridge Avenue. The collision pushed the second car into a third one.

After the crash, the thief left the stolen Hyundai and ran away. Police searched the area but couldn’t find him.

The driver of the third car hurt in the crash was taken to a hospital. The extent of his injuries is not clear at this time.

car thieves need hearts of crimes if I had my way about it it would be automatic 10 years flat without no parole and every time you do it there after it doubles I get them off the street and they would be irresponsible for paying the victims deductible as well as anything extra in regards to the person's car getting damaged
