ST. LOUIS – St. Louis City police officers report a carjacking in the area of Lee and Prairie Avenues in the Fairgrounds neighborhood Saturday morning.

The victim, a 26-year-old man, told officers he was stopped at a stop sign when a man with a gun approached the passenger side of his Toyota RAV4 and got inside. This happened around 5 a.m.

The man ordered the 26-year-old to drive before eventually ordering him out of the vehicle.

The vehicle was later located unoccupied near the intersection of College and Carter Avenues.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the North Patrol Division Station at 314-444-0001. Anyone who wants to remain anonymous and/or is interested in a possible reward can contact CrimeStoppers at 866-371-TIPS (8477).
