ST. LOUIS – A cool start out-the-door Wednesday morning as temperatures drop back into the 50s and 60s.

We’ll watch another nice warm-up occur Wednesday with highs approaching 90 degrees and humidity remaining low. This warm and dry pattern follows us into Thursday and Friday.

A chance of rain begins to introduce itself late Thursday into early Friday in NE Missouri and west-central Illinois. This will drop south through the course of the morning Friday, but coverage and intensity in rain begin to decrease as it works a bit closer to the St. Louis region.

Isolated to scattered coverage grows from Saturday into Sunday before cooler temperatures introduce us into next week.

Astronomical Fall begins on Sunday at 7:44 a.m.
