ST. LOUIS – Authorities say a man was carjacked and stripped to his underwear overnight in south St. Louis while responding to a person who faked a call for help.

The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department says this all unfolded around 2 a.m. Saturday in the 5900 block of Pennsylvania Avenue in the Carondelet neighborhood.

Police found the victim, a 41-year-old man, in only underwear and socks near the scene of the carjacking.

Boy abducted from California at age 6 found alive more than 70 years later

The victim told officers he was driving around when he observed a man standing in the middle of the street, waving his arms and yelling for help. As the victim came to a stop, a second man with a gun appeared and demanded money. He also ordered the victim to get out of the vehicle.

Investigators say the victim did not immediately exit, but was struck in the head with a gun, then forced out of the seat. He was also forced to strip down to his underwear.

Criminals & their schemes will have the public avoiding those in dire need. You see something just call 911 instead of stopping. Same thing for car accidents. Call 911 & don't even get out until police arrive!! 🤬🤬
