    St. Louis region high schools rescheduling football games due to upcoming rain

    ST. LOUIS – High school football games across the St. Louis region have been rescheduled to Thursday due to the anticipation of severe rain on Friday.

    The announcement comes amidst heavy rain coming into the region from Hurricane Helene, which is expected to make landfall in Florida late Thursday then move northward into the Mississippi River Valley on Friday.

    The following games have been rescheduled to Thursday due to the anticipated heavy rain:

    • Red Bud High School vs. Sparta High School
    • Althoff Catholic High School vs. Marquette Catholic High School
    • Roxana High School vs. Salem Community High School
