ST. LOUIS — Procter & Gamble is expanding its home products facility in North St. Louis with a $180 million investment, creating approximately 100 new jobs and retaining 530 existing positions. The expansion follows St. Louis winning a competitive search in 2022 to keep and grow P&G’s operations in the city.

Mayor Tishaura O. Jones and P&G leadership recently celebrated the expansion at the 17-acre campus on 169 E. Grand Ave., where the company produces Cascade, Mr. Clean, Swiffer, and Febreze products. The new jobs are expected to pay an average annual wage of $65,000.

“We need strong partnerships with businesses who see the same prosperous future for St. Louis that we do,” states Mayor Jones.

Daniel Palop Rabat, Plant Manager for P&G St. Louis writes, “P&G is proud to be part of the St. Louis community. This expansion marks a significant milestone as we approach our 100th anniversary in 2027.

Economic development incentives include $180 million in industrial revenue bonds issued by the Port Authority, sales tax exemptions for construction materials, and personal property tax abatements for new equipment purchases.
