Police say Roger Huddleston, 69, was taken into custody at the scene. Huddleston was charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action.

At this point, police have not released the identity of the man who was shot and killed. Authorities have also not revealed what led to that violence.

Several hours earlier, police responded to another shooting on the 700 block of Ponce in the Baden neighborhood of north St. Louis City.
