ST. LOUIS – A superhero-themed diner located in the city’s South Grand neighborhood has permanently closed its doors after struggling to recover from several past break-ins.

GotHam & Eggs on South Grand Boulevard announced on Facebook Saturday the breakfast and lunch restaurant would be closing its doors for good.

FOX 2 previously reported the restaurant had experienced two separate break-ins during the past several months. The restaurant said they struggled to make it to their one-year anniversary on Aug. 2.
