Suspicious fire under investigation in St. Louis County

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — The St. Louis Regional Bomb and Arson Unit is investigating a suspicious house fire.

Police were called to the 12100 block of Lake Constance Drive at around 12:30 a.m. Friday. Hazardous materials were discovered inside the home during the initial investigation.

Nearby residents were evacuated as a precaution. The St. Louis Regional Bomb and Arson Unit was called to the scene to investigate.

Authorities report that no injuries occurred during the incident, and there is currently no immediate danger to the community. However, the investigation is ongoing.

The St. Louis County Police Department is requesting that anyone with information regarding this incident contact them at 636-529-8210.
