Near record highs today ahead of a cold front. We have some clouds moving in now but those will clear back out later this morning, leaving us with sunshine for the afternoon and highs in the upper 80s.

A cold front drops south across the area tonight and early Sunday morning which will bring in cooler temperatures. It’ll also be breezy Sunday afternoon which will lead to elevated fire danger across the entire region. Highs in the mid to upper 70s.

Temperatures will be even cooler to start the work week with some cold mornings ahead. Overnight lows will dip into the upper 30s and low to mid 40s for most mornings starting Monday. Highs only climb to the lower 60s despite sunshine.

Tuesday night into Wednesday morning looks to be the coldest for St. Louis at this time as the center of high pressure moves overhead allowing for temperatures to drop into the 30s, potentially area wide. As that high moves east and winds shift back to the south temperatures will rebound back to the 70s for Thursday.
