OVERLAND, Mo. – Police caught the suspect in a slow-speed scooter pursuit with the help of a K-9 officer Wednesday in Overland.

According to police, K-9 Eros spotted a suspect who is known to be an armed and dangerous felon with previous records of fleeing during traffic stops with the same officer.

When the officer tried to pull the individual over, he continued on a scooter, which led to a slow-speed pursuit.

The suspect left the scooter and proceeded to run away. Multiple agencies were aiding the department when K-9 Eros was able to locate him attempting to hide in bushes, police said.

Police took the suspect into custody following him being released from medical treatment. The suspect was actively wanted by two other departments for felony offenses, according to officials.
