Crash leads to traffic backups on I-70 near Wentzville

WENTZVILLE, Mo. – A crash caused drivers to deal with significant traffic backups Friday afternoon near Wentzville ahead of the afternoon rush hour.

MoDOT’s Gateway Guide showed notable traffic backups in both directions of I-70, but especially for the westbound lanes near Wentzville.

Some traffic backups were reported into Lake St. Louis City limits. Authorities worked to clear the scene of the crash around 3:30 p.m.

Worst so called highway ever seen..Mo- Dot should be ashamed. Lousy road always a parking lot. Doesn't matter what time you drive down this goat trail. Morning - evening- night. Always crap
