Fatal car crash in Jefferson County leaves man dead

HILLSBORO, Mo. – A man was killed in a car crash in Jefferson County Friday night.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened on Klondike Road in Hillsboro, not far from State Routh BB just before 9 p.m.

The crash report states 29-year-old Aaron Phipps went off the road striking a fence and a tree.

He died at the scene.

Our roads are very dangerous if you're not familiar with them. Especially now with the deer coming into Rutt .You see them everywhere . But alot of times too late . I had one drag race me up B highway going south up the climb up the hill from Ficken Rd .
