ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. – Family, friends, and fellow first responders will gather to honor the life of a St. Charles County paramedic who tragically passed away while on duty.

A public visitation for Michael Clarke will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, followed by his funeral service.

The funeral procession is expected to start around 1:45 p.m. Saturday afternoon, beginning at Baue Cave Spring Funeral Home.

The procession will take a winding route through St. Charles before returning to the funeral home.

The 27-year-old was found unresponsive by his colleagues in an ambulance district bedroom on October 11.

Paramedic dies unexpectedly on duty in St. Peters

Despite their efforts to revive him, he was taken to the hospital and sadly did not survive.

In Clarke’s memory, flags have been ordered to fly at half-staff on government building in St. Charles County and all emergency medical stations across Missouri.
