ST. LOUIS – Three teenagers and a preteen were arrested overnight for allegedly carjacking a food delivery driver.

According to a spokesperson for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the carjacking happened around 12 a.m. Sunday in the 1100 block of North 20th Street in the city’s Carr Square neighborhood.

The victim, a 30-year-old man, was delivering food in the neighborhood when two males approached him, one of whom was carrying a rifle. The two suspects took the driver’s car, a white 2012 Cadillac CTS.

Approximately an hour later, police said District 6 officers spotted the Cadillac on Riverview near West Florissant and began a pursuit after the driver refused to pull over for a traffic stop.

Police deployed spike strips and deflated multiple tires on the Cadillac.

The Cadillac stopped near O’Fallon Park and three 15-year-olds and an 11-year-old ran from the vehicle. Officers chased the young boys down on foot and arrested them.

Police said they found an airsoft rifle in the vehicle, along with the victim’s property.

The four suspects were taken to the city’s Juvenile Detention Center.

The parents of these little bad ass kids should be arrested immediately, I have a grandson and my granddaughter do not let him be out at night and he cannot ride around in cars with other boys, she will go upside his head if she tells him something and he moves too slow, Why are these young teenage boys allowed to be out of their neighborhoods without their parents, if America would pass a law holding parents responsible for underage kids getting involved in any type of crime, instead of trying to pass laws about abortion, which is a woman's right to do what she wants with her body. Politicians need to pay attention to more serious problems than a woman's body. Guns are a major problem in America now, here young teens run around with guns committing serious crimes
