ST. LOUIS – It was another Sunday morning of sometimes heated but always civil political debate on Hancock and Kelley for Sunday, Oct. 20, 2024.

Republican consultant John Hancock and Democratic consultant Michael Kelley discuss the following topics:

• As their only televised debate looms here at FOX 2, incumbent Josh Hawley and challenger Lucas Kunce swarm the St. Louis area in their U.S. Senate race.
• Cardinals legend Ozzie Smith weighs in on Amendment 2, which could legalize sports betting in Missouri.
• Tuesday is the start of early, no-excuse voting in Missouri.
• Vice President Kamala Harris sat down for an interview with FOX News. How did she stand up to the grilling?
• Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump appeared at the Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner. Traditionally, both nominees attend the event and politely roast one another at the charity event. The vice president was a no-show and sent video remarks, leaving Trump with the podium all to himself. The former president poked fun at Harris and himself—sort of.
• In another blow for Downtown St. Louis, global PR firm FleishmanHillard is pulling out after nearly 70 years in the area and moving to a new headquarters in Clayton. The company’s senior vice president said the firm will continue to advocate for St. Louis as its headquarters and home. However, the head of Greater St. Louis Inc. says, “Make no mistake: downtown needs urgent investment… now.”
