SEQUOYAH COUNTY, Okla. — Cooling stations are available in Gore and Vian following storms in Sequoyah County.

Sequoyah County Emergency Management says the stations are open at the Gore Community Building from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and at the Christ the King Church in Vian all night.

Winds from the storm were strong enough to uproot trees and leave residents in the Blackgum, Tenkiller and Marble City area without power.
