Boil order issued for Osage County Rural Water District 21

OSAGE COUNTY, Okla. — The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality has issued a boil order for Osage County Rural Water District 21.

The department says the boil order is due to a treatment failure.

Residents in Osage County Rural Water District 21 must use water that has been brought to a full boil for at least one minute or bottled water for food preparation, dishwashing and brushing teeth.

The department says residents will be notified when the water is considered safe.
