    20-year-old Claremore woman dead following crash in Rogers County

    ROGERS COUNTY, Okla. — A 20-year-old Claremore woman, Chloe Aycock, died at the hospital following a single-vehicle crash in Rogers County on Tuesday.

    Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the crash happened a little past 11 a.m. on 4170 Road near Claremore in Rogers County.

    According to OHP, Aycock's vehicle hit a tree after driving off the road to the right for an unknown reason.

    Aycock was taken to the hospital after the crash where she was pronounced dead by hospital staff shortly before noon.

    OHP said Aycock was not wearing a seat belt and there was light rain at the time of the crash.

    The cause of the crash in still under investigation.
