Police identify 2 men killed in east Tulsa motorcycle crash

TULSA, Okla. — Police identified the two men who were killed during a motorcycle crash in east Tulsa Monday night.

Police say the crash happened on 145th East Avenue between 21st and 31st Street.

Police say 25-year-old Eliazar Villalva Jr. and 20-year-old Erik Villalva were riding the motorcycle north on 145th East Avenue at a high speed when Villalva saw a vehicle entering the road way and applied the brakes.

The motorcycle locked up which caused Villalva to lose control. The motorcycle overturned and slid off of the road and hit a car in the driveway, police say.

Police say the motorcycle slid several feet and the crash caused significant damage to each vehicle.

Police said one of the victims was wearing a helmet, but the other wasn't.

Both riders of the motorcycle died from injuries. The driver of the car was not seriously injured, police say.

So sorry for these 2 very young men. We need to all slow down and stay alert while driving and just might cut down on accidents across the board. prayers out 💙💙

Motorcycles should be outlawed. They are just far too deadly. If the riders are careful it’s then other drivers not paying attention, or it’s the riders being careless. Too many people have died from motorcycle accidents. I personally know 4 people throughout the years who’ve been killed on a bike.
