    One held in Lacy Lakeview kidnapping

    Lacy Lakeview, Tx ( FOX 44 ) – A 47-year-old man remains in the McLennan County Jail on multiple charges after being arrested following a reported kidnapping in Lacy Lakeview.

    An arrest affidavit stated it happened October 11 when the victim was walking near the New Dallas Highway Food Mart. The affidavit stated a man pulled up in a pickup and told the victim to get into the truck. The victim said “no” then was picked up and pulled into the truck. The victim was then taken to an apartment in the 5100 block of North I-35 access road in Lacy Lakeview and not allowed to leave. The affidavit stated that when she attempted to leave she would be met at the door by the man and assaulted and strangled.

    Baylor Police investigating reported kidnapping

    The victim managed to get help and a man identified as Christopher Demarcus Sterling was taken into custody. Jail records indicated he was also facing several other charges including assault family violence with previous conviction, theft, criminal mischief, and trespassing, His bond totaled $177,000.
