No. 22 Baylor sweeps Cincinnati

WACO, Texas ( FOX 44 ) — The Bears are back in the win column once again after a three-game skid on the road, returning home to sweep Cincinnati in straight sets with a 3-0 win at the Ferrell Center on Thursday night.

Both Elise McGhee and Allie Sczech recorded double-digit kills with 13 and 11, respectively. Sczech also added five blocks to lead the Bears.

Grace Carroll stepped in and stepped up for the injured Kendal Murphy, tallying nine kills and two blocks on the night.

Jackie Barrett Frazier led the team with 21 assists while Harley Kreck turned in 17 in the winning effort.

The Bears hit the road again but won’t have to travel too far when they visit Houston next on Wednesday, October 23rd at 7:00 p.m.
