The civilian was then forced to attend court for six months, only for the charges to be dismissed. The case was declined for prosecution under 160.50 and sealed for unknown reasons. When the civilian filed a $1.5 million lawsuit against the state, as well as against Yonkers police officer Jackson and the City of Yonkers, everyone went silent. They ignored the lawsuit and used every possible excuse, including immunity, to avoid responding.
