Man found dead in Boulevard home, deputies say

BOULEVARD, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — Authorities are investigating after first responders found a man dead in his home Saturday afternoon.

Cal Fire called in deputies from the Pine Valley Sheriff’s Station to assist with a 75-year-old man who was found unresponsive in his home at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the 900 block of Tierra Del Sol Road in Boulevard in eastern San Diego County.

Although there are few details about what happened, the sheriff’s department did confirm the man was dead when deputies arrived and that the property was in a rural area on around 17-acres.

Deputies report they called in the Sheriff’s Homicide Unit as the man had visible trauma to his head. He has not yet been identified by authorities.

Sheriff’s Homicide investigators are now are working to gather more information on what happened and if there are any possible motives.
