    Man, 75, found dead in Boulevard home identified

    BOULEVARD, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — The man who was found dead in his home in eastern San Diego County last Saturday has been identified by authorities.

    On Aug. 17 around 3:30 p.m., Cal Fire and deputies from the Pine Valley Sheriff’s station responded to a residence in the 900 block of Tierra Del Sol Road in Boulevard where they found a 75-year-old man unresponsive.

    Cal Fire informed the deputies upon their arrival that the man was dead, according to authorities.

    On Wednesday, they identified the man as Arthur Stephen Andreatta of Boulevard.

    Authorities said Andreatta appeared to have trauma to his head, but no other details have been released.

    Preliminary information indicated the residence was in a rural area on 17 acres of land.

    Sheriff’s Homicide Unit detectives are working to gather more information in this case. There is no suspect information at this time.
