WATCH: ‘The Jacksons’ bring their 2024 tour to San Diego

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — “The Jacksons” are performing in San Diego’s East County Friday night part of their 2024 tour .

“The Jacksons” are taking over the Sycuan Casino Resort in El Cajon on Friday, Aug. 30 at 8 p.m. Tickets are still available online .

The Jackson brothers will be playing hit songs like “ABC”, “I Want You Back”, “I’ll Be There”, “Rockin’ Robin”,  and much more at their concert Friday.

Before taking the name “The Jacksons,” the band began as the “Jackson 5” consisting of five brothers from Gary, Indiana — Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Michael.

The Jackson brothers Wednesday paid homage to their late brother, Michael , whose birthday was on August 29. Michael Jackson died in 2009.

Fans can meet “The Jacksons” and snag some exclusive tour merch with VIP meet & greet tickets .

Marlon, Tito and Jackie were live on FOX 5 San Diego Friday morning ahead of their tour stop in El Cajon. The trio talked about what to expect at the show, and answered questions about their favorite songs to perform and even some rapid fire questions about each other.

While on FOX 5 San Diego, the brothers teased a new album and movie both set to come out next year. They also mentioned they are currently working on an 8-part documentary series that is expected to come out sometime next year as well.

After San Diego, “ The Jacksons” tour is heading to Los Angeles, then over to the UK and Germany before heading back to the U.S. for two more tour stops on the East Coast.

The show at the Heritage Event Center at Sycuan Casino Resort — 5469 Casino Way El Cajon — is for ages 21 and older.
