    Paddleboarder in critical condition after being pulled out of water by surfers in SF

    SAN FRANCISCO ( KRON ) — A paddleboarder was rescued Friday morning at a section of Ocean Beach where the Great Highway meets Judah Street, according to the San Francisco Fire Department. The paddleboarder, an adult male, is in critical condition after being pulled out of the water by three fellow surfers, officials said.

    When firefighters arrived on the scene, the man was being attended to by National Park Service personnel and a bystander was performing CPR. SFFD paramedics initiated life support measures.

    The paddleboarder was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, officials said.

    I live a block away, and when I heard siren after siren, I knew something happened. I haven't heard what happened or if he lived but if it's who I thinknit is he is out there often and is very experienced.
