    Southern California and Baja California hit by earthquakes

    SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Did you feel it? Two separate earthquakes hit Southern California and Baja California on Friday.

    The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reports a 3.1 magnitude earthquake struck near Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico, Friday afternoon, while a 2.4 magnitude earthquake struck just off the coast of Del Mar, California, Friday morning.

    USGS reports a 3.1 magnitude earthquake struck at a depth of 10.7 km around 1:23 p.m. PST Friday. The earthquake was reported about 25 miles west of Ensenada, and 26 miles southwest of Maneadero, B.C., MX.

    In Southern California, a 2.4 magnitude earthquake struck at a depth of 12 km at 6:23 a.m. Friday. That earthquake struck just a few miles off the coast of Torrey Pines State Reserve, between Del Mar and La Jolla.
