Local advisory group votes to urge SeaWorld to end firework shows

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A new group has joined calls for SeaWorld San Diego to end its fireworks shows over its impact on native wildlife in Mission Bay.

The Mission Bay Parks Committee, an advisory group formed under the San Diego mayor’s office, voted unanimously on Tuesday to urge the theme park to either modify its long-standing displays or cancel them entirely.
