Two dead, one injured in weekend Barrio Logan shooting

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Police are investigating after a shooting in Barrio Logan Saturday night left two people dead and another person injured, authorities said in an update Sunday.

San Diego Police responded to reports of a shooting in the 1000 block of Beardsley Street in San Diego’s Barrio Logan neighborhood just after 9:30 p.m. Saturday.

According to SDPD, three people were shot. One person was taken to the hospital, and police confirmed in an update Sunday that person has since died. Another victim was pronounced dead Saturday night.

Police say the third victim remained at the scene with minor injuries.

None of the victims have been identified at this time.
